Love your Enemy!

You first must understand that an enemy can be anyone, from a family member to a mere acquaintance. How to shift the emotion of hate which usually associated with an enemy to love is simple yet difficult and takes practice. In order to love your enenmy you have to be a non-judgemental attitude, understanding of what love is, understand and how to love, Willingness to be mindful and most of all patience. Patience with others will give you patience with yourself, allowing others to be patient with you.
However, if someone insults you or dislikes you, respond in a Christ-like manner. Don’t take things personally or give in to hurt feelings and let your emotions control you. Instead, see the other person as someone with a problem who needs God’s help and your prayers. Pray for your enemies.
Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you (Luke 6:27-28).
